Business Improvement District #50

BID50

The City of Milwaukee’s South 13th Street & West Oklahoma Business Improvement District #50 (BID50) was created in 2015 and is also known as The Crisol Corridor, which means Melting Pot.

The Crisol Corridor runs north-south along S. 13th Street from Cleveland to Morgan Avenues, and east-west on W. Oklahoma Ave from S. 15th to Chase Ave. BID #50 (The Crisol Corridor) was formed by local businesses to fund and organize projects and initiatives that improve the economic vitality of the area.

The business district is one of the most unique in all of metro Milwaukee. Small businesses neighbor international franchises and a diversity of cultures is reflected in the many restaurants and other business establishments. The district is home to multiple diverse supermarkets, a musical instrument store, a bakery, a tea manufacturer and cafe, a florist, a tortilla factory, an apothecary and so much more.
