Did You Know…
The Crisol Corridor is home to what many consider Milwaukee’s oldest natural health food store?
To celebrate everything the Crisol Corridor has to offer, we are starting our “Did you know?” social media series, highlighting all of the one of a kind shops and people that make up our outstanding community of businesses along S 13th St and W Oklahoma Ave on Milwaukee’s south side.
This week:
The Natural Food Shop – located at 3048 S 13th St – has been a community staple along the corridor since 1960 (that’s nearly 60 years)!
As well as offering a huge selection of unique and hard to find nutritional supplements, herbal remedies, teas, and other natural healthcare products, the business is truly committed to the community it serves, and the improvement and Beautification.
As seen here, The Natural Food Shop recently completed a refresh in its storefront. With support from the Crisol Corridor’s brand new Beautification Grant Program, the shop was able to receive matching dollars towards the restoration of their vintage storefront sign.
